Pet Policy Survey Update

pet policy results are in!

Whether it’s for company, support or health, there are many reasons why we might want to keep a pet. After listening to your feedback, last month we reached out to customers to hear your views on our Pet Policy and we promised to share the results with you before the end of May.

We’re really grateful that so many of our customers took the time to respond to the survey, our thoughts and views will shape our new policy.

The results showed:

  • The majority of our customers felt that you shouldn’t need to ask permission to have a pet in their home.
  • The majority of our customers disagreed with our current policy to only allow cats and dogs in homes with their own private entrance.
  • The majority of customers felt there shouldn't be any cap on the size of your property and what pets you should be given permission to keep.
  • 78% said that Stonewater should only be involved if the pet becomes a nuisance.

So what happens now? We're looking at what changes we might need to make to our policy as a result of your feedback and working hard to make sure it is balanced and fair for all our customers.

We’ll be back in touch in June to share the updated policy and let you know what you’ll need to do to let us know if you’re planning on getting a pet.
