Scrutiny Panel 2022 Look Ahead
Looking forward to an active year
Welcome to 2022 from your volunteer Scrutiny Panel members and in the blink of an eye we’re nearly in May!
Our first Service Review of 2022 will be Communications. After seeing performance information and listening to our fellow customers’ feedback we’ve identified this as a priority for review. We’ll look at bite-size chunks to make sure we can really focus our efforts and get things moving in the right direction for us all.
We’ll continue to keep an eye on performance data, help review policies and contribute to consultations - after all, it’s a chance for us to make sure the customer voice is heard at every opportunity. We’ll also make sure we’re involved in national conversations around tenant engagement and take every opportunity to make a difference for Stonewater customers and beyond.
In our last update we told you we’d recruited 7 new members to the panel. Well, they’ve really got stuck in and have attended several meetings, including one with Sue Shirt, Executive Director - Customer Experience; Juliana Crowe who is a Board Member and part of the Customer Experience Challenge & Assurance Panel along with Sheila Collins who is Chair of Stonewater’s Board. It was great for the Scrutiny Panel to be able to chat with them about the work we’re doing and listen to the vision they have for improving Stonewater services.
One of our new members wanted to share his experience so far.
Satish said, “I found applying to join the panel an easy process and I’d never been involved in anything like the Scrutiny Panel before. In a few short weeks we’ve helped to review the Terms of Reference and contributed to identifying a topic for review. It’s been so interesting finding out about how things work and how we as customers can contribute to positive change which benefits all Stonewater customers. I would definitely encourage others to take up the challenge.”
We’re always keen to hear from other customers and involve them in our work, whether that’s through conversations, surveys or just giving us a bit of feedback. To share your thoughts on our plans or if you have an idea you want to talk about and think there’s an area the Scrutiny Panel should shine our light on, email us at scrutiny@stonewater.org.
