Keeping your community looking its best: Grounds Maintenance Workshops
We know how important it is to feel proud of where you live, and a big part of that is having clean, tidy, and well-maintained communal spaces.
Whether it’s keeping the grass neat, picking up litter or making sure your shared spaces are nice and clean, we want to make sure everything runs smoothly across our estates.
That’s why we’ve been working hard to review and refresh our estate services. We’ll be working with a number of new contractors across the country – this means the contractor who delivers our estate services in your area might change.
Our contractors are here to help with:
- Grounds maintenance (like grass cutting and hedge trimming)
- Litter and leaf collection
- Low-level fly tipping removal
We will be taking time to go through a thorough selection process to bring in contractors who share our values and meet the standards you expect.
What’s staying the same?
Don’t worry, how you report issues won’t change! You can still get in touch with us to raise repairs or let us know if something’s not quite right.
Call us at 01202 319119, email us at customers@stonewater.org, or log in to your MyHome account. You can also let us know about estate services issues through our handy tool on our website.
You might be wondering…
Will this affect my service charge?
Possibly. If there’s been a change to the amount you pay, we’ll reach out to you with more information. If you’ve got any questions or worries about this, just get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.
How do you keep an eye on things?
Each region has a Strategic Partnership Manager who oversees local services like cleaning and grounds maintenance. They work closely with contractors to make sure everything is being done properly.
Contractors share updates with us through online portals, so we can track work, view schedules and see photos of completed jobs – all to help keep things transparent and on track.
Want to get involved in improving your community?

Share your thoughts!
We’ll be holding some online, area-specific, workshops over the next month, to find out more about what matters to you and what you’d like to see from our Grounds Maintenance service – we’d love for you to come along!
The online sessions are also a great way to meet the teams behind the services and find out what changes are coming.
