Help us to celebrate Black History Month

We’re looking for volunteers to help us celebrate Black History Month this October and mark the valuable contributions of black people throughout history. 

Black History Month takes place every October to recognise the cultural, political and economic contributions that the black community have made to the UK and beyond, and shine a spotlight on the ongoing challenges faced by the community. 

We want everyone to help us celebrate Black History Month by sharing their stories of living in a diverse community. We’re really proud of the diversity of our team and our customers and we want to celebrate this by telling stories that will not only help us to understand the lessons of history, but also enable us to create a more inclusive future. We’ll be creating a video with stories spanning from when the MV Empire Windrush first arrived in Tilbury Docks in 1948, right up to the present day.
