Salisbury Retirement Living scheme refresh Week 2: Brian

Our retirement living residents in Salisbury have made further progress on their own project to revamp their communal lounge and, this week, our ‘Reporter of the Week’ Rachel, caught up with Brian, Treasurer of the Residents’ Committee.

Brian explained to Rachel that he had “been ill so couldn’t do very much practically to help out but I shared my opinions and I’m glad I can still be involved in choosing the chairs styles and fabrics. I’m Treasurer for the Residents’ Committee so I might be asked to give advice from that front at some point too”.

Asked about his future hopes for the lounge, Brian explained “I hope that the lounge being redecorated will mean that new people, who don’t often come and join in, will come downstairs and socialise more”.
