A project to help disabled people to get out and about in Kirklees, thereby reducing social isolation and improving the general wellbeing of disabled people.
Could you spare a few hours a week or a month to help someone
to take part in community activities?
By becoming a volunteer befriender, driver or escort, you could make all the difference to someone’s life. There is a wide range of community-based volunteer opportunities available including visits to museums, the theatre and cinema, pub lunches, trips to garden centres, watching and enjoying sporting activities or just meeting up for a coffee and chat.
